Back to the Most Elementary Mechanical Premise

In Post #2, the verdict was clear. From Newton to Einstein, every model of space treated it as an empty background, and that single assumption generated every unresolved contradiction in modern physics. GF-HR returns to the most basic, unambiguous principle of mechanical engineering to cut through it.

The deep-sea fish does not feel the water
A deep-sea fish lives under crushing pressure its entire life but cannot perceive the water surrounding it — because it has been immersed in that pressure since birth and has evolved to equilibrate with it. Humanity is no different. We are fully submerged in the Space Fluid, adapted to its density, and therefore unable to perceive its presence directly.

For a wave to propagate and for force to be transmitted, a physical continuum must exist. No exceptions. On that premise, Axiom 1 is now formally declared.

This axiom is not a mere assumption. Once space is accepted as a compressible fluid, the quantum constants humanity has already measured experimentally — Planck's constant, the classical electron radius — become the keys to back-calculating the physical properties of space numerically. Post #4 performs that calculation directly.

The decisive difference is the last column. The Space Fluid is numerically tractable. ρ_s and η_s are not abstract metaphors — they are physical variables with calculable values, derived from constants already measured in the lab.

Accepting space as a compressible fluid, the following results follow by derivation alone — no invented variables, no circular reasoning.

The power of Axiom 1
"Space is a compressible fluid" — this single sentence chains the Planck constant, the Lorentz factor, dark matter, and cosmic expansion into one unbroken line of mechanical causality.
Every equation that follows uses only this axiom and verified fluid-mechanics governing equations (Navier-Stokes, Bernoulli, Prandtl-Glauert). Every derivation terminates at a value already measured by experiment.

§ 1.2 — Clarification

How the Space Fluid Differs from Aether

The question must be addressed: isn't this just reviving 19th-century aether? No — the difference is decisive.

Planck Constant Decoded: ℏ = η_s × V_c
Derived directly from Axiom 1. Dimensional analysis shows that Planck's constant matches viscosity × volume exactly. The sacred constant of quantum mechanics is re-identified as the minimum viscous drag of the Space Fluid.
